Olli and Luna Pet Portraits is run by a customer of ours, Julie. Julie works as a freelance designer in the greeting cards industry and has expanded her activities to include the production of pet portraits on to canvas from photographs.
Where Julie comes into her own is her ability to completely remaster the photograph.
She removes any background clutter and enhances the detail of the subject.
The final canvas looks almost as if it has been painted.
Jet - Canvas
Once edited Julie prints the image onto 100% cotten canvas using a pigment based U/V stable inks for increased longevity. At this point they can be given a coat of matte Giclee varnish for extra protection against moisture and abrasion. They are then hand stretched onto 38mm deep gallery frames made from high quality kiln dried fir.
