Markfield Cattery
The Cattery is all fully insulated and lined in plastic with sneeze barriers in between runs. There is a safety corridor enclosing the whole block.
Each cat has its own comfortable chalet, with toys, shelves, scratching post and comfortable bed. The chalet leads to a private covered run overlooking the gardens.
Each chalet is heated and this is controlled by individual thermostats.
Whilst in our care every effort will be made to ensure your cat is happy and relaxed.
We genuinely have the cat’s welfare at heart and this is the reason we do not cater for dogs. We can however, accommodate small rodents.
We believe that, whilst you relax on holiday, your beloved cats should be able to do the same. We can also email you pictures of your cat whilst you are away upon request.
We are located in the rural setting of Markfield halfway between Coalville and Leicester, very close to junction 22 of the M1. It is very easy to find as well as being very convenient when travelling to and from East Midlands airport. See our map page.
We are fully licensed by the local authority and also have very comprehensive insurance, which is included in the price of your stay.
We pride ourselves in being only small and as such feel that we offer an overall elite service to our customers, from boarding, to food, as well as health. See our shop page.
We run a five pen cattery. Our fifth pen, otherwise knows as Syd's Penthouse offers the extra luxury of a radio, cat toys and other feline comforts. Our aim is to keep our cattery small so that we can give each boarder the individual attention for which it has become accustomed to in the comfort of its own home.
